The Fintech Sales team at Fiserv focuses on the most important sales opportunities in Fiserv's growing Fintech business. These prospects and customers include fintech's, crypto companies, online brokerages, digital/neo-banks and brokerages, NFTs, remitters, content creators, marketplaces and traditional financial institutions all looking for solutions to launch, scale and continuously evolve their financial products and services.What does an outstanding Sales Executive in the Fintech space do?You will focus on selling into the Fintech space. Key to this role is your ability to understand Fiserv's broad portfolio of solutions and their value. Expertly listen to the needs of prospective clients, match those needs to Fiserv advantages, and secure mutually rewarding multi-year contracts.This role is focused on generating, validating and closing new opportunities while playing a key role in providing market feedback used to set the strategic vision for the business.Top performers at Fiserv are self-motivated, have a bias for action, and possess the sales and business acumen to vet opportunities and close deals. Payments, financial data, card and technology sales experience are all a good foundation for success, but not required if you're prepared to spin up quickly. If you like building value in competitive situations, get excited about prospecting and are capable of independently leading sales cycles from start to finish, and in the process enjoy digging into business models and helping customers quantify their investment decisions, you'll love this role.You can look forward to:

  • Qualifying leads and prioritizing customer opportunities: Serving as the primary point of contact for incoming prospects by identifying their needs and requirements, responding to requests for information, and vetting them against our current and future product offering.
  • Running a Sales Process: Managing real customer opportunities through a sales process, from initial engagement to pricing discussions to final contract negotiations. At any given time, you will be responsible for managing accounts and working the opportunities in various stages of that process in Salesforce.
  • Contracting: Work with our Legal team as required to shepherd opportunities through the contracting process, including negotiation and execution.
  • Knowing the Tech: Quickly get up to speed on Fiserv's capabilities, the unique features and customer benefits our product array offers and how to speak with confidence, knowledge and credibility about what Fiserv delivers to our Fintech customers.Basic qualifications for consideration:
    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • 5+ years of experience in financial or technology sales, partnerships and/or strategic business development roles.
    • Proven track record of an overachieving sales record.
    • Interest in and understanding of payment ecosystems and data services.You're the kind of person who:
      • Is comfortable working in a dynamic environment and rapidly changing market conditions. We offer an array of world-class products and have to manage the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders. Our product roadmap is also constantly evolving to reflect changing strategy and the competing needs of our customers.
      • Has familiarity and ease with the fintech ecosystem.
      • Has confidence in serving as the face of Fiserv for prospective Fintech customers and partners from C-suite executives and entrepreneurs to employees and tech teams executing the solutions.
      • Can prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules.
      • Is a strong problem-solver with the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver on the customer's needs.
      • Has superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, email, live/remote, and presentation)
      • Has a positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who can work independently.
