(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract position is available for a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services
within a school setting. This role is based in Hayden, ID, serving
educational environments requiring effective communication support
for students utilizing sign language. Key Responsibilities: Provide
accurate and clear sign language interpretation during telehealth
sessions. Facilitate communication between students, educators, and
healthcare providers. Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in
all interactions. Adapt interpreting techniques to suit various
telehealth platforms and student needs. Collaborate with
educational and medical staff to support effective service
delivery. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proficiency in
American Sign Language (ASL) with certification preferred.
Experience interpreting in telehealth and school settings. Strong
understanding of deaf culture and communication nuances. Ability to
maintain focus and accuracy in virtual environments. Excellent
interpersonal skills and adaptability. Location: Hayden, ID This
