Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a
Maintenance Journeyman 3rd Shift to join their dedicated team. As a
Maintenance Journeyman 3rd Shift, you will be an integral part of
the maintenance department supporting operational excellence and
safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving
skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently,
which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title:
Maintenance Journeyman 3rd Shift Location: Leeds, AL Pay Range:
$31.00 - $39.00/hour Shift: Night Shift (9pm-5:30am, Sun-Thurs, OT
Fridays) What's the Job? Troubleshoot and repair AC & DC motors and
control circuits to ensure continuous production. Read and
interpret electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and
instrumentation drawings, schematics, and manuals. Install,
maintain, and repair PLC and DCS hardware, software, and controls
to optimize system performance. Maintain 480/240 Volt 3-phase MCC
and power distribution systems for reliable operation. Replace
electrical control devices such as switches, valves, and sensors,
and move/setup equipment as needed. What's Needed? Over 5 years of
industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Associates Degree, technical school diploma, or journeyman's card
in a related trade. Strong mathematical skills including addition,
subtraction, decimals, and fractions. Mechanical aptitude and
reasoning ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal,
