Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized
support within a school setting located in Akron, OH. This travel
position offers a unique opportunity to work with students
requiring speech and language services, starting in January and
continuing through the end of the school year. The role includes
providing compensatory services to support students' communication
goals effectively. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and
language evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans. Deliver direct therapy
services to students with speech and language impairments.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
support students progress. Maintain detailed records and
documentation in accordance with school and state regulations.
Provide compensatory services to ensure compliance with student
IEPs. Desired Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence
in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Experience working in
school environments (SLP-School) and familiarity with pediatric
populations (SLP-Pediatrics). Knowledge of healthcare standards
relevant to speech-language pathology. Completion of the Clinical
Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred. Strong communication and
organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively. This
position involves travel to the Akron, OH area school setting and
